I tend to think that the best way to further the message of Christ is to make it where people can do that fulltime instead of worrying about what their family will eat. That’s life but if we can make it where missionaries and ministers don’t have to worry with that they can put more of their effort to spreading the gospel.

My wife and I visited the village of Salani, Mozambique for 10 days at a time in 2003 and 2004 and we loved spending time with the people there. We spent about half our time walking through the fields in search of folks to share the gospel with and invite to our evening meetings, where we showed them the film, JESUS, in their language. When we arrived late one night in 2004, after having been there the year before, I stepped on the ground and thought to myself, “We’re home.” We love those people and regardless as to the living conditions, it is such a blessing to have an opportunityt o minister to them.

The story of general Naaman is a perfect story to use in a business seminar. It illustrates how the top brass that knows it all needs to pay attention to what the people on the floor in production know and have to say.

Elisha’s servant Gehazi is most interesting. He coveted to have something from Naaman. For sure his wish was fulfilled. Gehazi became as white as snow with leprosy.

why did the death of Jesus pay for anyones sins? How is that possible? What did that achieve? Jesus died for sins, which then, for the next 2000 years, because of the death of Jesus, sparked Religious warfare across the World. The crusades, the protestant reformations, the holy wars everywhere. What did the death of Jesus achieve other than a bunch of nutcase followers filled with hate for anyone who doesn’t agree with them?
Jesus made sin much worse.

Hi;

The Gospel, the real-Gospel is the only antidote and cure for our disease (sin). A watered-down those won’t help and will only make our later state worse than the first.

I we preach ‘another gospel’ let us be accursed.

Let is go and share the real-Gospel today… While we still have time.

Of course, the gospel is marvelously good news, also. Those with whom Jesus clashed most were the religious conservatives of his day, more concerned about being right than caring for others. They were, indeed, offended by Jesus apparent lack of concern for the law, which would have been, to them, a lack of concern for obedience to the Bible.

But to the outcast, the dishonored, Jesus’ message is “Come unto me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Jesus offends the religious and comforts society’s outcasts. All too often, we in the church offend society’s outcasts and comfort the religious. Oops!
